Math Tutor - Grades 7-10, St. Albert

Hi – my name is Chris. I recently graduated from Paul Kane, and would love to help your child improve their understanding of math concepts. I am available for in-person 1-on-1 math tutoring from grades 3-10 in St. Albert. I come from a family of math tutors, and as a result have learned the math tricks that the kids who get the answers so easily on those exams use to understand and remember the concepts.

I understand the struggle students face when the class moves faster than their needs, and with math, the snowball builds on itself and before the student realizes it, they are completely lost and feel helpless. There is a way to get them back on their feet, and I would love to help get them into their stride.

A typical session will be reviewing the recent material in class, performing and checking sample exercises, including any homework. I will work to find the points they are missing and fill in the gap. I show my students an easy way to understand and solve the math problems, so that they have a reliable way to figure out the answers on their own. We can also cover past material and set him or her up for success moving forward.

Math is essential to understand as the concepts will not only apply to this school year, but generally build upon the current concepts for future years. That means your investment into their math skills will pay back in dividends throughout the school career.
