Description

1 Week in paradise, Aruba is outside the hurricane belt, we traveled here to celebrater our Anniversary, in 2013, fell in love with the island and purchased a pair of weeks @ Aruba Beach Club, have been traveling here yearly since. This is the low rise area of the island, no need to wake up to set your towels on a chair, palapas are available all day, there is never more than 20 people in the ocean during low season here, if your not into overcrowded large resorts, this is your answer. there are many restaurants and a casino/plaza across the street, there is on onsite restaurant, 2 grocery stores are within a 10.00 cab ride, if you don't rent a car, although driving in Aruba is very similar to Canada, it is on the same side of the road as here, unlike the Barbados/Bahamas. We have flown with each Canadian carrier: Sunwing is only Mondays, and that does not work as this is a Saturday to Saturday rental, both Air Canada and West Jet fly to Aruba return on Saturdays, this year we are using the week before Sept 7-14 our flights on sale with West jet cost 1377.00 return for 2 of us with seat selected and luggage both ways. this week will be placed in your name for the week, you will receive confirmation from Aruba beach club directly a few days after payment is made. upon check in ABC places a 200.00 hold on a credit card, upon checkout there are 134.00 US in fees that the resort charges directly this is a daily energy charge and island imposed taxes for all tourists,, this is on top of the rental fee. To give you an idea it works out to less than 1400.00 Canadian per person, it is not an all inclusive, but alcohol can be purchased at duty free at the airport, beer wine and spirits can also be purchased at the grocery stores on the island , the resort has ice machines on each floor, filling a beach bag with ice, and filling it with beer and wine on the beach is acceptable here.

instead of posting my own pictures of the resort go to ; arubabeachclub.net it shows the resort with rooms . any other info, contact me @ robdcool@protonmail.com
