This charming cottage is situated in the perfect location on the quiet Grey Owl Lake. Fall in love with this hidden small gem on a beautiful lot with lots of opportunities to explore wild nature. The cottage has a lot of heart and is welcoming and warm with a rusty but cozy cottage feel. Perfect for families with kids as it has a flat grassy area along the wide water front, and a small shallow sandy beach area. Dive from the dock. Enjoy your days in nature, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, meditating, watching sunsets, and more.
The space:
The living room and kitchen have an open space concept. Two bedrooms: 1 bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. Second bedroom has two twin beds. Pullout couch in the living room can be used as well. The rooms are small but enough for sleeping, changing, and resting. Living room has a dining table, tv, dvd player, large collection of dvds, board games and a couch. There is a half bathroom (toilet and sink) on the main floor, the shower is located in the basement level which has a separate enterance from the lower level of the cottage.
Water sport and more:
1 kayak, 1 small canoe, 1 stand up boar, large trampoline available for use.
Other things to note
For any shopping needs, The town of McKellar is a 5 minute drive from the cottage and has a convenience store, LCBO, and other small shops. Parry Sound, which is 20 minutes away has major grocery stores, a Canadian Tire, Starbucks, Wallmart, and some restaurants. Additionally, Parry Sound has an amazing trail along Georgian Bay which we recommend on your way to or back from the cottage, or any other day you need a picturesque trail with small beaches along the way.
