Hi friends! We've recently renovated a lakefront home on Watts Bar Lake in Spring City, TN USA. If you're a snowbird looking for something other than Florida and other coasts, this might just be your getaway.
This location is perfect for a quiet getaway, plus access to the Smoky Mountains for hiking or sightseeing, and visiting Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga and everything in between to explore all that Tennessee has to offer. It's also only a few hours away from Atlanta and Charlotte, among other cities if you want to explore the southeast US. The lake levels are lowered during the winter, but if you want to fish, kayak, or paddle board, you've got options.
The main, upstairs level has the primary bedroom and bath, plus the kitchen, dining, and living rooms with spectacular views of the lake. The downstairs has two more bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den with 4 bunkbeds. Newly renovated with all tile floors, a propane fireplace, ceiling fans, and lots of natural light + blackout shades in the bedrooms. We have high speed internet, wifi, and a couple of large-screen smart TVs. There's a gaming table and a desk in the den for play and work.
We mostly use this house in the summer, and thought our northern friends might enjoy it during the winter. Our ideal solution is to find a renter to make this their winter residence (one or more years) who can invite family for winter holidays, and who may want to visit for a week or so during the summer.
