Orchestra Kingston, now in its ninth year of performing concerts in Kingston, Ontario is a Not-For-Profit organization, operated entirely by a working group of volunteers. Our Board of Directors is made up of keen individuals in our community, who are passionate about orchestral music and arts in general. The Board meets 7 - 8 times a year. Meetings are monthly (September through to May) and last about an hour and a half. In addition to administrative duties, Board members often help out at concerts as greeters and ushers and are welcome to stay for the concert. We do not rely on Board members to subsidize our budget or require them to engage in fundraising, as many Not-For-Profits do. We do welcome interested individuals to be part of a dynamic and friendly group that governs our organization.
