We have moved a few times over the years and we somehow forgot to keep these out when the packers came a few times, so they would get buried in the packed boxes and we had to buy them at full retail before the movers could take our washing machine...
You must use these brackets to secure the weight balancers in your front load washing machine before moving it or the concrete weights inside the machine will get damaged with the motion of road travel and the washer is then ruined.
I paid over $100 plus taxes every time and felt like an idiot, but it saved me from ever having to replace our washing machine which has now moved 4 times and is still going strong after 16 years.
We are now retired and no longer need them :-)
