Wedding Venue

Weddings today have often become far too expensive. We at The Wedding Hangar offer an outdoor upscale wedding venue that will not leave the bride, groom and/or their parents financially overburdened.

Our venue includes a ceremony location alongside a stream, an 80 ft X 30 ft building to facilitate a rehearsal dinner and a wedding reception. We make our facility available over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The building nicely facilitates a Friday evening wedding rehearsal meal, and your reception dinner and dance on Saturday. Bonus day - Sunday - for clean up.

Guest decorate the venue area as they see choose. You can make it as upscale or as casual as you like!

We have enjoyed weddings here since 2014. Our policy is to have only 10 weddings per year.

There is more than ample space for guests to park their RV's, camper trailers, tents for weekend camping. With this we feel there is no need to drive after the reception.

Also, a "cabin amongst the trees" for the bride and groom to spend their wedding night alongside the stream with an outdoor deck and seating area to enjoy a morning coffee. This cabin is air-conditioned, heated, queen size bed, shower, kitchenette, eating area, flush toilet, refrigerator and microwave. It also very nicely accommodates a location for the bride, bridesmaids, maid of honour, and mother of the bride to complete those "final touch" dressing preparations prior to the ceremony.

We can now offer a second guest cabin.

For the groom and his groomsmen we offer an additional air-conditioned dressing, waiting room with sink and toilet facilities.

Unlike most other outdoor wedding venues we have complete flush toilet facilities. "NO PORT- A - POTIES ​ with hot and cold water. wheel chair accessible.

We are a Transport Canada registered airport. As such the bride (and groom if desired) can arrive via airplane or helicopter at an additional charge.

We supply benches with back supports at the ceremony area for approximately 200 guests, tables and chairs for the dining area for 160 guests ((excluding head table seating). Weddings with guests numbering greater than 160 people can be easily accommodated at an additional charge. We have had weddings with guests totaling 240 people.
