Toroad Education Ltd. is a new franchised education center of Sager Education based in Richmond which will benefit the students in Richmond to access the education programs of Sager Education. Sager education is a large education institution registered with the Canadian federal government, focusing on education training/competition and examination/university planning, providing an elite teaching model. Toroad education is located at 257-8680 Cambie Road, Richmond, V6X 2E8. Our education center will have space for 12-15 students per session and will offer Robot education, math education and STEM education program. As a new franchise center, we are cooperating with Sager Education on various courses offering and the center itself urgently in need of an experienced and driven Managing Director to oversee the operation and administration of the new franchised education center and support services including the management of administration, financial resource, human resource, support services, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the center; • Develop policies and procedures to achieve performance goals and objectives and grow the center • Ensure that policies and procedures are executed according to Toroad standards • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services • Responsible for managing the operations of the company to ensure a consistent, quality education experience for Toroad students while managing costs. • Meet sales and expense financial targets • Monitors and tracks the center’s financial performance, Profit and Loss controls, revenues, expenses and fee collection. • Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies • Administrate the schedule of teachers from Sager Education and other educational specialists, parents/students and other stakeholders. • Select, develop, motivate and monitor staff and conduct regular reviews • Staff scheduling and approve leave • Perform other related duties including ensuring adherence to established Toroad operating standards with particular attention to student safety and well-being
Job Requirements: • A bachelor's degree or college diploma or equivalent education in a field related to the business administration, business operations, finance or related administrative service field. • 3 years of management working experience in business management, business administration, finance, or administration services • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement curriculum and to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships • Demonstrated ability to utilize independent judgment, initiative, tact, patience and courtesy • Ability to set up systems and procedures to support effective operations • Strong management and organizational skills • A decision maker, problem solver with abilities to analyze information to resolve matters • Willing to work on holidays, some evenings or weekends
