THE PET FOOD BANK OF PARKLAND COUNTY Your financial and food/supply donations will support our charity to help low income families with their pet needs: as well as our spay/neuter program, purchasing books for classrooms we visit through animal care and welfare program.
We provide free pet food and pet items to low income families, that prove by vet certification their pets are either spayed or neutered. If pets are not fixed, applicants have 3 months to apply for spaying or neutering in the S.N.I.P or PALS program. The cost is $25 per pet with SNIP or $25 per cat with PALS and $50 per dog with PALS. Failure to apply within 3 months is cause for disqualification for free pet food and items.
We are pleading for more foster families - fostering is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have -- caring for; looking after and bringing up baby.kittens. It's so gratifying. We need you!
We are located at #90 Madison Crescent, Spruce Grove, across the road from The Parkland Food Bank. We are open Mondays (except holidays) from 9:30 a.m.-Noon. For further information please call 780-960-0426.
The Pet Food Bank of Parkland County is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to helping low income families who are experiencing economic hardship by providing free pet food and miscellaneous supplies to those who qualify.
The Pet Food Bank also has a low income spay-neuter program and spends time in Parkland County Schools talking to children about animal care and welfare.
