Learn to Clog

Each Tuesday, beginning Sept. 2, join our clogging group, 4-7PM, at McNally Community Centre (210075 Township Road 82, Lethbridge County). Clogging is a tap like traditional dance in the same family as square dance, in that it is a cued dance. One learns the steps by name, then can dance any routine as the steps are called. Clogging is a fun way to exercise and socialize, while enjoying a wide range of music eg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKjbEMoWBRg. There are many workshops and conventions in many different cities and countries. Many friends to be made, and always a new routine with new steps to learn. Please come anytime within that 4-7PM time slot or contact albcoaldale@gmail.com with "McNally clogging"as text, or in the subject line. Wear a court shoe, or comfortable leather soled shoe, or socks will work until you figure out your shoe preference. $50/month. Try "Hey! Let's go clogging", instead of "Let's go to the movie", next time you are with friends. A YouTube search for "Clog dance" will bring numerous examples of routines taught by people from around the world.
