Information on farm animals: Chicken: I shall provide you skill and some chicken to begin with. You could keep up to 300 chickens. You are allowed to let the chicken free run in the neighbourhood. Also allow to grow some vegetables. By law, you have to pay $250 per chicken to buy quota from authority on exceeding 300 population. You are not allowed to sell any produce in the public. Do not expect to build a big enterprise on a hobby farm, for there are lots of regulations restricting you. You need many million dollars to buy quotas. Basically not possible for beginners. I sell Fertile eggs $15 per dozen. Manure $25 per 50 lb bag. Old chicken $20 each. Rooster $35 each. Baby chicken $5-15 each. Ready to lay $35 each. Moslems want to buy live chicken. I go to the farm every one or two weeks. You don't have to buy feed if there is no snow on the ground. There is some difficulty to access on heavy snow fall. I could make a reasonable side income and enjoyment. If you are still interested, contact me at 905 625 9261. Cattle and sheep: The quota price to raise a milk cow is $30,000 per head. I do not know the quota cost on the sheep.
