I’m planning to permanently move from Minnesota (U.S.) six hours north to Winnipeg in October 2024 and I would love someone to show me around or give me input on places to visit, places to eat, shop, socialize, and areas of town to consider moving to (or to avoid). I’d also welcome any input on people to use for various services after I move (realtor, bank/credit union to use, lawn company to do lawn maintenance, grocery stores, auto repair shops, etc). I’m also going to be looking for a new job so would love any input on various employers in town.
I will be in Winnipeg second week of April and will stay at Quality Inn on Pembina Highway that is connected to Winn City Pub and we could meet up at Winn City Pub and I’d be happy to pay for food, drinks, pool, or whatever and we could chat and hopefully you could share some knowledge with me?.
