Jupiter 10LC (10 inches, 50 watts) Guitar Amp Speaker

The Jupiter 10LC is a 50-watt speaker made by Warehouse Speakers in the U. S. A. This speaker captures all of the classic chime, twang, glassiness, and clarity of original 1960's Jensens and sounds great. The guitarist I am working for wanted to put it into a Princeton Reverb but instead ended up putting it in a California Tweed. It sounded great in that amp; however the amp was on loan and when it was returned the original speaker had to be put back into it. My client was going to buy the Mesa California Tweed but the financing didn't work out. When he removed the Jupiter a lug was damaged; however, this has been repaired by a tech and the speaker works fine and sounds great. This is inconsequential but was taken into consideration by the owner when the price was set for this speaker (it should be higher!). The specifics of this speaker are: 1. This speaker is a significant upgrade for a Fender Princeton, California Tweed, or similar amp that uses a 10-inch speaker. It has all the “sparkle” and “glass” of historic speakers used in Fender amps but the quality of the materials and overall build is better than modern speakers often used by amp companies. The bass is also quite balanced while at the same time allowing for clean fender sparkle, clarity, and glassiness. This speaker is only a few months old.
