An obscure but awesome amp. Part of the Marshall family that never took off.
A bit of a rarity.
Marshall JMP 100 watt solid state amp. Much slimmer head but the same weight. Great preamp section and a ton of power. Can be used for both guitar or bass. It was gone over at Vintage ToneWheel and given a clean bill of health and a new power cable.
Very responsive amp and takes pedals cleanly.
This model was only made for a brief period of time. It’s the same design as the JMP but solid state.
It is in remarkable condition for a 45 plus yr old amp.
Paired with a Marshall JCM 900 cab outfitted with Eminence no label speakers. They can handle whatever you throw at them. Nice crisp tone teamed up with a resonant cab.
