Description
The Marshall 1974X is a sought-after guitar tube amplifier known for its rich, vintage tone and handwired construction. This model is a reissue of the classic 18-watt combo from the '60s, offering the warm and harmonically rich sound that has become synonymous with the Marshall name. It features a 2-channel design with simple controls for volume and tone, as well as speed and intensity dials for its tube-driven tremolo circuit. The 1974X is equipped with a Celestion G12M-20 Greenback speaker, which has been "aged" to deliver an authentic, worn-in sound. I have upgraded the power transformer to a Mercury Magnetic for its reliability. Trade for Fender American Standard telecaster (2012-2016).
