2112 - Fulltone OCD version 1.4 Circuit

The Fulltone OCD version 1.4 circuit is long out of production. The current model is version 2.0 and differs from previous versions. The 1.4 adds a Germanium Diode (1N34A) to the 2 MOSFET clipping stage, creating Asymmetric clipping. It is more of a different flavour of Drive than the other versions of the OCD out there. The OCD is a mid gain, warm sounding Drive. It can be used like a boost in place of the usual Tube Screamer and you can also use a boost in front of the OCD, which significantly increases the gain and tightness of the OCD. It makes the OCD pedal very versatile. Not a kit. I build my own circuit boards, hand solderd, Through Hole, True Bypass. I source components by recycling obsolete gear as much as possible. Pick up in Downtown Ottawa I can deliver at times, by bike, on a nice sunny day if you're around the city. I generally do not trade my custom pedals for other current market pedals.
