Laurentian Hills is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Public green spaces, including McLennan Park, are very well-distributed and there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in, which makes them very easy to get to. This part of Kitchener is also good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are generally reasonably tranquil - although there are still several noisier areas, especially near Highway 7 & 8.
