City Centre is appealing, as it contains both vibrant and quiet areas. Although this neighbourhood is not known for its lively ambience, its busier streets are still quite energetic, and with its a few nightlife venues, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located around the corner. At the same time, this area is reasonably quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic, however some parts can be quite loud, especially near Highway 401 or one of the railway lines. Parks aren't well-spread out, which results in them being very hard to access from most locations within the neighbourhood. Still, there are approximately 20 public green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, such as Brock Ridge Community Park and David Farr Park.
