OUR SPACE:
Hiking, biking, skiing and all the splendour of the Valley and nature are at the doorstep! Our space is a hidden treasure and an artist's haven. Our beautiful, fully-furnished and equipped daylight walk-out suite on five wooded acres in the North BX, Vernon is close to Silver Star and downtown, includes all utilities, fibre-optic Wifi, Telus TV, Netflix, PVR and more. It is a 15-minute drive to Silver Star and 12-minute drive to downtown Vernon (north end). The suite has a sprawling living/dining room, private covered porch overlooking the forest, a large bedroom with queen canopy bed, dressers and closet, utility room with washer and dryer, plenty of storage space, and bathroom with stand-up shower. It is tastefully furnished in rustic country decor, and the kitchen and bathroom are fully-equipped. There is a private keyed entrance and plenty of parking, green space and light. Garbage, recycling, snow removal and yard maintenance are all included.
THE DETAILS:
Rent is $1750/month and includes all of the above. The suite is 100% non-smoking, and there are no drugs (including marijuana) or parties permitted on the premises (we respect the forest). One small dog can be considered, based on a meeting with our dog (they have to get along and your dog can’t be an incessant barker). No other pets will be considered.
We are looking for someone quiet, clean and respectful who will look after our space like it is their own. Our suite is ideal for a single person wanting privacy, serenity and a long-term, beautiful place to call home. We will require a minimum of three references, a half-month security deposit and a half-month pet deposit (if applicable).
