Searching for a Rental

Hello there! I’m a full-time, permanently employed female professional living and working in Whitehorse and I’m currently looking for the right place to call home. In addition to my full-time role, I also have a small consulting business (this does not involve having clients at my residence) so I keep a busy schedule and value a quiet, well-cared-for living space. I previously owned my own home before moving back to Whitehorse 2.5 years ago, so I have a strong appreciation for the responsibility, care, and investment that comes with home ownership. As a tenant, I treat any home I live in with the utmost respect and care. I’m seeking a long-term rental, an ideal move in date would be March 1st but I can be flexible on that if necessary. My budget is around $2,100/month with some flexibility for the right place. I’m very comfortable with Yukon living in all seasons, including rural properties, and I’m experienced with wood-stove heating. I’m also open to living up to 30 minutes outside of Whitehorse. I am looking for my own space rather than a shared one. I’m currently in a very small place (similar to a tiny home) and am looking for something with a bit more room to move around. Preferably a 1-2 bedroom rather than a loft or studio. I have two senior dogs who are calm, quiet, and well-behaved. I can provide excellent references for both myself and my dogs. Because of them, the rental would ideally have a fenced yard or space to run a line, so apartments aren’t a good fit — but I would be very interested in a house, suite, townhouse, or condo that meets this need.
