Beautiful Cabin in Ibex Valley/Caretaker/Base Manager

We are looking for a property caretaker (on-site living) approx. 40 min from Whitehorse. Beautiful isolated location with view onto Ibex Mountain. The position includes subsidized private on-site staff accommodation in a beautiful secluded location with access to Hiking/Biking/Ski trails nearby. Best suited for a handy and physically active person or couple with experience living in a dry cabin. Staff Accommodation is a 12×30ft open concept tiny-home with loft, propane range and fridge, satellite internet (basic package included), electric hookup for generator (not included) and wood stove (firewood included). Must have a Valid Driver's license and First Aid Certificate. Caretaker Duties: Required from May 1 - July 31 of 2025 Duties include but are not limited to: Monitoring and light maintenance of property Base Manager Duties: Required from August 1, 2025 - April 15th, 2026 Duties include but are not limited to: Be an active part of safety and rescue plan for tours Be back up guide for tours Interact with guests before and after tours as a staff member Daily cleaning of yurts/teepees/cabin/outhouses Daily starting of wood stoves in yurts/teepees/cabin Processing / Stacking of Firewood Snow Shoveling and Ice Removal Monitoring and light maintenance of property Daily maintenance of facilities and equipment on property (incl. generator, snowmobiles, ATV) Light repairs of snowmobiles if needed Light repairs of ATV if needed Preference will be given to those wanting to sign a contract till April 15th, 2026 If you are interested, please fill out the online application form below.
