Antique British Bowl and Pitcher Decorative Accent

Rare and unusual Victorian era transferware washbowl and pitcher set in tones of blue and pink with bird accents. Creates the illusion of birds flying high in the clouds at dusk with blue, white and pink color variations. Looks like bluebirds and swallows flitting about have a grand time. The is a true blue not the turquoise its appears to be. For some reason I can't get the color to show properly. I have owned this pieces since the early 1970's. The lady from whom I purchased this said that the paint has the unique ability to detect either heat or humidity (can't remember which) and that the pink color fades or darkens. CONDITION: I am being hyper-critical here!! Some crazing on the bottom of each and the pitcher has a fissure as seen in the last photograph. It has been like this for a very long time and I do not believe its important unless of course you intend to use for something other than a unique display piece. There are some spots where the transfer hasn't taken and really only noticeable under close inspection. There is a small flake on the base of the bowl, however it is almost unnoticeable when sitting flat.

SIZE: The bowl is 15 3/4 inches across and 5 1/4 inches tall. The pitcher is 12 inches tall and 9 inches at bulbous base.
