SET OF VINTAGE AUTOMOTIVE TOOLS - VERY EARLY

We have for sale a set of early 1900's automotive tools. Four in total. You get all four for one price. There is the perfect handle screwdriver, two bearing scrapers and a general scraper. Called a "Perfect Handle Screwdriver" because it has a solid piece of metal all the way to the end it can be used to hit or indeed...as in some adverts from the 1930s...as a hammer! Invented by HG Smith 1890-1900 and various uses including being part of a 1920s Cadillac tool kit to being called "An Undertaker's Screwdriver" because it would fit in the undertaker's pocket and he would use it to screw the lid of the coffin down! The wooden parts are called "scales" and they are through-riveted with either steel or brass rivets. A great set of historical tools designed to take you back to the good ole days.
