rare sidewalk chalk SQUARE in BOX some complete FARMHOUSE FIND Chalkboard
… awesome box of old squared kids chalk … perfect for the vintage / antique toy collector / children’s drawing stuff … what a great farm find …
• delightful colored chalk set in original box
• CHUNKY BLOCK STICKS:
- four mostly unused or color tested in green, blue, orange and black
- each measure: 1”square x 3”l
- age storage bumps / corner edge chips / black may have had some use? / chalk dust color transfer to sticks
- in original separate paper / card tray with paper wrapped corners and dividers
- untouched normal age soiling of box(es) due to the nature of chalk – any dusting /cleaning up to the end user
- old corrugated cardboard cushion under tray – over time has made it become attached to tray – i did not attempt to loosen
• THINNER STICKS:
- eight some complete sticks in white, yellow, orange, blue, red, green, flesh and black
- yellow and red sticks are complete although broken
- black is in two pieces and some missing
- full sticks measure approx.: .5”square x 3”l
- age storage bumps / corner edge chips / chalk dust color transfer to sticks, etc.
- in original separate paper / card tray with paper wrapped corners and dividers
- old corrugated cardboard cushion under tray
- untouched normal age soiling of box(es) due to the nature of chalk – any dusting /cleaning up to the end user
• ORIGINAL OUTER LIDDED BOX:
- plain light brown card stock box
- paper wrapped corners – still intact – one corner has paper wrapping that is lifting as shown
- outer lid has original children’s owner’s names: Ross and Deb
- chalk color testing through box lid inside and out – can’t you just envision their delight
- measures: 9.75”l x 4”w x 1.25”thick
- box seems to be unlabeled by maker – although perhaps the label has come off over the years
- lots of colored chalk dust inside box – untouched – dusting / cleaning up to the end user
