Vintage Silex Candle Warmer
Used for keeping your coffee warm in the pot at the table once served.
- Made by the Silex Company in the 1950s to accompany their Silex glass vacuum coffee system.
- Warmer consists of a glass bowl with a metal grate that lifts off so you can insert and light a tea light.
- Metal lid has decorative openings to allow the tea light's heat to warm the pot of coffee.
- Bowl's molded sides make for a decorative way for the candle's light to escape.
- Warmer has three short legs to raise it above the table.
- Measures 5 7/8" in diameter x 3 5/8" high.
- Large enough to hold a 12 cup coffee pot from a modern coffee maker.
- Marked "CANDLE WARMER, The SILEX Company, Patent Applied For" on the metal lid.
Warmer is in excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks, has minor surface wear on the metal top with heat marks on the underside.
