Vintage magazine ads offer a fascinating glimpse of real-life history, an archive of what advertisers thought the world wanted. Ready to frame, matte or laminate, these authentic classic ads can add to the unique decor of your home, business or showroom.

My ads are authentic, and carefully cropped from original publications. Come see my Antique Advertising webpage at sessmith.wix.com/antiquead2 .

History- (from Wikipedia) George Burns and Gracie Allen were an American comedy duo who, worked together in vaudeville, films, radio and television and achieved great success over four decades. Burns wrote most of the material and played the straight man. Allen played a silly, addle-headed woman stereotype common in early 20th-century vaudeville comedy.

Condition- This ad is in excellent condition with a small, light stain in the upper left. The first picture shows what this ad would look like trimmed and matted. The second picture shows the untrimmed ad. The ad is sold untrimmed and not matted.

I live in Porters Lake but go into Halifax/Dartmouth once a week to meet buyers. See the link to my other ads in the upper right corner for more great ads, magazines, and books. I have several other ads that are not yet listed. Let me know if you’re looking for a specific subject or company.
