Description

The Phoenicians were renowned seafarers and traders. This coin was issued just after 259 BC according to David Sear catalogue #5999. Obverse is head of Tyche, reverse is the prow of a galley with protruding defensive remparts, facing left. 19.8 mm and 5.43 grams, purchased from Ancient Greece Auctions. #2017-1010 in GB2.
