    Original Engraving, 'Toronto' by William H. Bartlett (1809-1854), depicting a Toronto wooden wharf with Workers with hats, Barrels, Sails Ships, Two Wooden Shacks, Cityscape in the background, with label on bottom left of mounting board marked, '253', 1842, Mounting Board: 12” x 9 3/4”; Engraving: 7 1/16” x 4.6”, with bottom right corner chip of mounting board. Provenance: pg. 86, Engraving by E.J. Roberts, Canadian Scenery Illustrated, Vol. 1, by Nathaniel Parker Willis (1806-1867), Esq., From Drawings by William Henry Bartlett, George Virtue, 26 Ivy Lane, London, England, 1842.
