Small African Porcupine Quill Mirror

This is a small African porcupine quill mirror set into handmade frames made of African porcupine quills of varying lengths, creating a unique but simple sunburst design. The porcupine quills used are washed, sterilized, and fumigated according to international standards. They are threaded by hand on a black epoxy coated, wired, mirror frame.

Diameter: 30 cm Quill length: between 13 to 18 cm

Genus and species: Hystrix africaeaustralis. Wild.

African porcupines are not endangered and are not subject to CITES controls.

Made in South Africa.
