This is a vintage glass 5 gallon carboy made in Mexico. This carboy is made of thick, high quality lead free glass. A glass carboy is ideal for fermenting all beverages to best protect the flavour and quality of your beer or wine. This carboy is constructed of high quality glass to provide clarity, durability and longevity. Glass is non porous and will prevent oxidation during fermentation. In addition the glass allows easy monitoring and is completely odourless and tasteless to protect the flavour of your beer and wine. The glass carboy can also be used as a unique decoration in the garden or as a container to collect and store coins, used corks or other collectibles. The carboy is 20" high and has a diameter of 10". The neck has an inside diameter of 1 1/4" with an outside diameter of 2 1/8". The carboy is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
