Vintage Handmade 13.5" x 13.5" Aztec/ Mayan Resin Chess Set

This chess set is a rare vintage Mexican Chess set inspired by Aztecs and Mayans.

The chess board is made of resin stone with the Aztec calendar carved on it. All pieces are made of resin stone in red and white. The mold for each figure was created from a hand-carved original, then resin and stone were mixed and poured into the mold. Each piece was finished by hand, including decorative painting. That is why no two pieces are the same.

Board measures 13.5" x 13.5" Pieces measure up to 3.5"

In good vintage condition. Made in Mexico in the ‘80s.
