Vintage 2-tier end table, bench built by the Chesley Chair Co, Ont, formed in 1910 in Chesley, Ont, from the 1896 Woelfle Chair Company Limited that burned out in 1905.
In 1910 it became the Chesley Chair Company Limited (CCC) and in 1963 sold to Heirloom of Canada Limited ("Heirloom") until sold in the 1990s to become Crate Designs. This 2-level side table is from the 1950s.
Made with solid wood, walnut; made in Chelsey. Ontario.
Finished in dark walnut stain and high gloss polyurethane.
