Vintage rare Shoe Horn BATA ‘shoemaker to the world” steel, 9 cm

Bata shoe company started in 1894 in Zlin, Czechoslovakia, opened its first store in Canada 1934, came to Canada 1939 with refugee families and built a shoe factory in Batawa ON, moved their headquarters to Toronto 1964, closed the factory in 2000 (cheaper to use foreign labour) and closed its factory owned stores in Canada in 2001. This shoe horn is a small memory of that international success story. The shoe horn will fit almost anywhere, great for travel, easy to use. The top end is folded back and down providing excellent finger grip handling. Hang it up using predrilled end, with or without a cord Saves newer shoes from stretching out of shape and wearing edges. Steel, very strong, resists bending and keeps its shape. Suitable for men’s and women’s shoes. Size: 9 cm/3.5” long, 4 cm/1.6” wide, 1.4 cm/0.6” deep.
