Warmink Dutch Grandmother Clock

A beautiful and a very rare antique/vintage Warmink Dutch Grandmother clock with a Wuba movement. Wuba movements are pure quality. $1,200.00 OBO. The clockwork is made by the best clock company in Holland, namely the famous Wuba company. The company which was located in Almelo, the Netherlands was founded in 1929 produced quality clocks. However, after 75 years in business and craftsmanship dating back to the 17th century the Warmink family closed the doors of their company forever. So the clocks that exist today will never be manufactured again. So if you want a unique piece of history of the Wuba/Warmink/Dutch history, then this clock is for you. It is in superb condition, the wood, the ornaments and the movement (the clock works perfectly). No missing pieces and has a different chime for each 15 minute interval and gongs every hour (New Westminster). The height of the clock is about 6 feet with the stand. The width of the clock at the base is 18 ¾ inches. The original owner purchased the clock in Holland and brought it overseas with her after the war. We purchased the clock at her estate sale. Estimated age is between 45 to 60 years old.
