antique victorian parlour rocker, unusual carved "Griffin" arms

This has a very unusual carved arm design and is a reasonably large "parlour" rocker. The velvet fabric on the seat shows much lighter in the pictures and is more a deep olive green. This is a very comfortable rocking chair and can accommodate a variety of sized individuals. Check out the pictures especially for the very interesting carved "Griffin" figures on the arms.
