MCM Canadian Beauceware Pottery Cartier Candle Garlic Holder

For sale is an interesting mid-century Beauceware candle lantern or garlic holder with Dijon mustard-coloured glaze designed by Jean Cartier, I would say judging by the early C-4 model number probably during the period 1968-1969. Lantern measures 6-7/16 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter, being in excellent condition without any chips, cracks, or repairs, showing allover age crazing, the tip of the lantern having one minute, barely noticeable glaze nick “see 6th photo”. Fully marked on the underneath side “see 7th photo”.
