WH Grindley Tunstall, circa 1880-1891, Daffodil pattern sugar bowl has oversized daffodil in the foreground with a landscape scene of a young boy watching a sailing vessel rounding a castle. The pattern displays the victorian era love of nature. 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" this bowl has aged well but does have a few wrinkles. There is a chip on one "foot" and four small chips on the inside rim of the bowl (covered by the lid which also has three chips on the inside rim). There is a hairline crack on the bottom of the bowl. Surprisingly there is no crazing on the bowl but there is crazing on the lid.
