APOLLO 7 commanded by Walter M. Schirra, with Command Module Pilot Donn F. Eisele, and Lunar Module Pilot R. Walter Cunningham was launched on October 11, 1968. Their mission was to complete an 11-day Earth-orbital test flight to check out the redesigned Command/Service Module (CSM) with a crew on board.

Here is a rarely seen unaddressed APOLLO 7 Space Cover issued on October 11, 1968 with Cape Canaveral FL postmark and facsimile autograph of Mission Commander Walter Schirra. A single 6 Cent stamp depicts Washington's Cruisers Flag 1775 - An Appeal to Heaven. Add this historic Space Cover to your collection for only $4.
