1983 Canada Edmonton, AB World University Games Silver Dollar Sealed, new, uncirculated. Listed in Krause as KM#138 Has been stored in closet since purchase in 1983

Issued to commemorate the World University Games held in Edmonton, Alberta, during July of that year.

In 1983, the 12th edition of the World University Games was held at Edmonton, Canada. The event drew a crowd of 60,000 who attended the opening ceremony at the Commonwealth Stadium. Prince Charles opened the event accompanied by Princess Diana.
