Selling 7 Mostly Vintage and Antique Bottles For Sale. each priced below in the ad. A) One Antique 1940's or 1950's Italian Silver Plate Glass Decanter with Dragon handle. It reads on the bottom: " Distillerie Buton, Bologna - Italia, Casa Fondata, NEL 1820. Argenterie Comm. G. Galbiati, Milano". This decanter is appointed with wonderful details, rossettes, scrolling and flower banding. It features a Silver Plated Top Fluted Pourer with a Formed Dragon handle. The tapered glass Body has lovely raised glass rosettes up and down each side. The base is silver plated and has a raised textured design around the perimeter edge. The Top metal part also has some lovely raised molding around the outer edges. What makes this one special over the others you may see online is that it retains the original Metal Twisted wire look loop handle attached to the original cork. Approx 11 1/2" tall. The metal silver plate is tarnished and corroded a bit where a fair bit of it is missing. But the decanter still looks great and with the original cork would look great on display.
