Vintage 20” Tiger Maple Rolling Pin 1 Pc. Solid Wood Baking Pasta Cookies Check the listing for complete details. This old wood rolling pin has a beautiful grain. It was turned from one solid piece of maple and is mesmerizing to watch as it turns on a kitchen work table. Every spin is a new visual delight. Surrounding most of the rolling pin is a strong tiger maple pattern but there are also areas where the bird’s eye maple is visible. The grain gives the wood a beautiful sense of depth which, unfortunately, the camera could not capture. This is a good roller, clean, smooth, and easy to handle with a good balance between length and circumference. There is no appreciable warping. There are no cracks but there a few tiny scuff marks and nicks; honestly acquired signs of wear from the generations of use in the kitchen. There is also a shallow, about 1cm. diameter dent that is hardly noticeable but noted. 51 cm. (20”) long with a 21 cm.
