Kenojuak Ashevak is celebrated as a leading figure of modern Inuit art. Ashevak is perhaps the best-known Inuit artist because of her famous prints and especially her The Enchanted Owl (1960), which was featured on a Canada Post stamp. She was also the first woman to become involved with the newly established printmaking shop at Cape Dorset. Up for sale is one of her rare sculpture pieces. Her work is represented in art museums and important private collections throughout the world.
