For sale is an exquisite, RARE, antique Theodore Haviland Hand Painted Gilt Trimmed Limoges Lidded Chocolate Pot! This is an exceptional example of fine, white, translucent porcelain. When the patterns were first introduced, Victorian-era brides with discriminating taste often selected the respected Haviland dinnerware sets as their wedding china! This flawless beauty is decorated with cobalt blue, gold, and creamy ivory in an outstanding Art Deco design, featuring lush blooms in a pretty urn. This bold pattern is continued on the upper part of the pot, and covers the pristine lid. Gorgeous from top to bottom, it stands 10" tall x 6" wide, including the lovely, perfectly designed handle. The entire piece weighs 1 lbs. 5.5 oz., and is completely damage free, bearing no chips, cracks, crazing or diminished gilt work.
