Markgraf Print

Signed print by Peter and Traudl Markgraf. Contemporary Canadian Art Card series no. 9608 titled Sunday Night. (The signature and title are underneath the mat). Excellent condition.

They were inspired to create images of the Canadian landscape by their trips through Canada.

Both were originally from Germany – Peter 1924 – 2008, Traudl 1925 – 2003. They were well-known and respected Canadian serigraphy artists.

The art itself is 5 inches x 7 inches. Including the wood frame and the mat it is 10 inches x 12. The wood frame is 1 inch wide and the mat is 1.5 inches wide. The color of the frame and mat complement the brown and caramel tones of the art.
