Mario Lemiex won bronze with the Canadian team in the 1985 world championship games and scored the winning goal in the 1987 Canada Cup tournament against the Soviet Union.
Scott Niedermayer won gold with the Canadian team in the 1991 World Junior Championships and won silver at the1996 World Cup of Hockey.
