Vintage Air Canada Galaxy melamine ashtray - made in Canada - Oramin by Ornamold Montreal - in pristine, unused condition - would also make a nice trinket dish, key or change holder or a great addition to your aviation collection. With a rounded triangular shape that measures approx 5 1/8" x 5 1/8" at widest points. The Galaxy Flights went from Toronto to California in the late 1960's. However, The Galaxy service ran for only a few years as it was cancelled when Flight 621, a Galaxy run, crashed outside of Toronto on July 5, 1970 with the loss of all on board. (42)
