Part of an estate sale and private collection, this exceptional unit has been carefully preserved and stored away in a climate controlled area for over forty years. Before the Alpine explosion of popularity in the mid 1980s, Jensen lead the market in Head Units, Speakers and Amplifiers. This unit which sold for over $500 in 1979-80 was considered a state of the art unit which had features we don't even see today on modern head units. This unit has been carefully dismantled, cleaned and sanitized and works like new!! Features include: Dolby B Noise Reduction on both tape and FM; High Powered Bi Ampable switchable 2 and 4 speaker application with 18 watts RMS Output per channel. Dual Power Amplifiers for each channel with passive crossover network independent IC Output Devices. Side Load Cassette Mechanism for for low wow and flutter.
