For sale is a lovely and RARE original oil Fall landscape by listed artist Anna Jalava. This piece comes with a working brass light that accentuates the beautiful oil colours. Oil painting measures approximately 47.25”W X 27.25”H X 2”D (framed). Wood frame shows slight wood loss (see picture).
The family of artist Anna Jalava (born 1926) immigrated from Finland in 1952. Artists in the family include: Orvokki Jalava (mother), Erkki Jalava (listed artist), Anna Jalava (listed Canadian artist) & brother-in-law Paul Hyttinen (listed artist). Anna Jalava's paintings can be found in museums and fine art shops around the world; the Jalava family concentrated on the Muskoka and Georgian Bay areas of Ontario.
