I will continue to trim down my vast collection of eyepieces and astro related gear due to my early retirement overseas in 3 more years. I am selling a Takahashi tube holder for Takahashi TSA-102 and FSQ-106, (world’s finest Astro-Photo) for a FIRM $349.

Just to give you an idea of Takahashi hardware prices;

You can buy one new from a retailer in the Canada for $837+HST= $945.81 or buy mine for $349.

First $85 deposit via E-Transfer payment reserves it until you can pick it up.

Notes: You may use this for any telescope that has an outside diameter of no more than 4.5 inches. As you see in the image attached inside diameter is 4.5 inches.

I have NEVER used this piece and it is NEW!

You will need to purchase from Lowes or Home depot, a nut or nut wing since I misplaced mine. It’s a no brainer, just take the clamshell with you and buy the nut (for $0.50 to $2) that fits the bolt screw of the clamshell. The hundreds of dollars OFF the NEW price should more than compensate you for this small inconvenience.

Reason for selling: Simple, I sold both my Takahashi FSQ-106 telescopes; hence this is not needed anymore.

I have included pictures that will speak about the condition of this item. I will not reserve this item for anyone based on a verbal promise of interest. It is on a first come, first serve basis.

As a collector that I am most of my astrogear has been kept on a shelf on display or at most used once or twice to test. That should tell you a little bit about the condition. In addition to that, all of my gear have not been exposed to direct sunlight, come from a smoke and pet free home.

We can certainly discuss layaway with a deposit if it helps you to obtain this item, but I would strongly recommend paying it in full and taking it home so you can enjoy it sooner. I leave it up to you since I do not need the money right away.

3- I go to the closest Canada Post Office and get the exact shipping quote.

4- I provide you with the quotes: (Priority, Xpost, Regular Parcel) you choose which one and I expect you to pay the full amount for the shipping. I will provide you with the receipt.

5-This is a guarantee that I won’t be wasting my time and that the buyer will pay for the shipping without hassling me a buck here and there.
