Unique Vintage Pottery Woven Basket with Twig and Twine Handle

Vintage and unique handcrafted pottery woven effect basket in biscuit colour with a white wash over the woven insets effect and a detailed top lip edge. Textured surface to resemble a woven rectangular basket. The outside is a flat biscuit colour with a white whitewash effect and the inside is a glossy biscuit colour. Handle is crafted from slender long pieces of wood shaped and molded into a handle shape and tied at the top and both ends with wood twine. The handle is held in place on each side with a small stick passing thru pottery knobs to hold the handle circle ends in place. Attractive holder for any number of things in many rooms of your house, or merely use as a display item. Excellent condition - only ever displayed. Bought in the U.S. in a crafts store. Made in Thailand. 2 beige felt pads on the bottom can be peeled off if not needed.
